DORMITORY ACCOMMODATION: RS.1500 PER BED

• If a child and parent of different genders (Mother Son/Father Daughter)
are traveling together, they will have to stay in separate dormitories
only.
• Breakfast and Dinner included for 5 days.
• Check-in: 16th March (5:00 PM); Check-out: 21st March (5:00 PM)
• Basic mattress in hall within campus only.
• Bus Pick-up and Drop from Railway Station included.
RULES OF PLAY
1. Eligibility:
Any player having FIDE ID or updated AICF ID is eligible to participate in this tournament.
2. System of Play: The Tournament will be played under FIDE’s Laws of Chess and the
Swiss system. A total of seven rounds shall be played.
3. Default Time: Default time for arriving to the chessboard is 15 minutes.
4. Time Control: The rate of play shall be 90 minutes with an increment of 30
seconds per move from move number one.
5. Tie Break: Following is the order of tie-break:
a. Buchholz Cut1
b. Buchholz
c. Sonneborn Berger
d. Direct encounter
e. The greater number of wins (forfeit included)
f. The greater number of wins by black
6. Draw Agreement: Players shall not agree for a draw without the consent of the arbiter,
before each player makes 20 moves.
7. Protest: Protest, if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in
writing with a protest fee of Rs.1000/- within 30 minutes of the occurrence of the
incident. The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.
8. Appeals Committee: Before the commencement of the tournament, a five-member
appeals committee shall be formed by the organizers.
9. Registration of Players with AICF: All participants in the Tournament shall be
registered with AICF for the year 2023-24. Online AICF registration can be done at the
