There was no Pharmacy College in this region till 2005 and Mr. Amit Goel, Founder of Shivika Educational Society, realising the need for training the students in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences and established Vivek College of Technical Education, Bijnor in 2005. Thus this college is the pioneering pharmacy institute in this region. The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, which is the apex body controlling technical and professional education in the country. The College and its degrees and diploma are also approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul KalamTechnical University, Lucknow and Board of Technical Education, Lucknow.Recognition by all the four apex bodies bears a testimony to a very high level of academic excellence the college has achieved. College has intellectual, dedicated and experienced faculty members for the academic progress of the students. The College is equipped with all the modern instruments and machinery like High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Automatic Tablet Punching Machine, Lyophilizer, UV Spectrophotometer, Brookfield Viscometer, Microtom and many more to provide the best practical training to budding pharmacists.
